Hey, whadup?

Ok, people, now that the Rock 'n' Roll star put me on his blog, an honor to be sure, I've got think of something to say, which is far more difficult than shooting one's mouth off on other blogs or websites, which I have been known to do. I think that the R'n'R Star urged me to start contributing here because foremost, we are close friends and have known each other for many years, but also because I think he is seeking the presence of a different point of view on his site. As he mentioned to me a few weeks ago, the indie-rock world can begin to sound like an echo chamber at times with many people saying the same things about the same bands and so on. Rest assured, that will not be a problem here. Rather, I hope to make a fresh and interesting contribution to this blog through the free exchange of ideas with you all, and hopefully learn something in the process. That's it for now. Have a nice evening.

Looking forward to your first "real" post, which undoubtedly will be on Spinto Band!

Again, welcome to the sometimes "wonderful world of blogging". Happy to have you on-board!

right on.

i agree too many blogs just post the same old shit day in and day out. the only time i will make a post about a specific band i'd like to recommend is when it's a band who hasn't gotten the interest they deserve imo, or that rarely gets plugged on the blogs.

granted now everyone is posting about Band of Horses the last 2 weeks, but back in January i was one of the few people who seemed to give a shit.

but yeah, i actually stopped reading a ton of blogs last fall because of Sufjan & Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. i mean christ, i like both bands (specially Sufjan), but gimme a break.

Oh, but where will I go to hear about what Bright Eyes puts on his toast -- is it Jelly, Jam or big chunks of hearfelt emotion??

Hey, maybe you should post something on the Arctic Monkeys. That would be new. :) Or not.
