Rodrigo y Gabriela: Letterman 12/18/06

I actually watched this Monday night and forgot about it until today (thanks for the comment reminder Yetta on C's blog). Wow, one of the best music performances I've seen on TV in a while:

Rodrigo y Gabriela are from Dublin via Mexico City. How cool is that?!

My favorite shows of 2006

A couple of people have asked me lately what my favorite live gigs were this year. Well, tis' the season for lists, so here you go.

If I don't get to another post before the holidays, have a very Merry Christmas!

While they may be better on record than in a live setting, hanging out with Tom and Sergio after the show in the basement of the Fine Line made this whole night so much fun.
