Me and singer/guitarist/keyboardist Ben Trokan, Robbers on High Street, 10/11/05, Quest Ascot Room
Unfortunately I don't have time for a full-fledged post. Instead, just a few things to go over:
- Did you catch Black Rebel Motorcycle Club performing "Ain't No Easy Way" on David Letterman Wednesday, 10/12/05? I hope you did...Absolutely brilliant performance! I love the new album "Howl". I'm kinda' mad now I missed these guys live a couple of weeks ago @ Fine Line.
- I'm totally addicted to The Cloud Room's tune "Hey Now Now". Here's the mp3 for you. Download it and I think you'll feel the same way.
- Have you checked out Arctic Monkeys yet? Miss Valerie has been praising these British blokes for a while now... and for good reason, they rock! And they don't even have an album out yet! You can stream their singles and b-sides at Scenestars; I highly recommend checking it out... They might just be the next "big thing from the UK".
- Robbers on High Street were amazing live yesterday @ Quest Ascot Room. King of France were good as well; I haven't completely made up my mind on those guys yet. I even made it to the Death Cab for Cutie show last night as well. Yeah, I pulled my hand-stamp trick and snuck into yet another show. Well worth it, as DCfC was great, soooo much better than when I saw them @ ACL. I think now I understand what all the hype is about...
- Sorry about the short post... I have to get some rest, as "Rocktober" continues Thursday. Wolf Parade, who I saw recently open for Arcade Fire, are playing @ First Avenue 7th Street entry, 10/13/05. Can't wait!
I'm sooooo behind on my blogging. Hopefully over the next few days I'll have some time to catch up. I'm off to bed, have a great day/night/whatever!

Nope, didn't point a gun at the lead-singer... I left the AK at home for a change (it was a good day).
I deleted the very short post I had put on there the day before as it was absolute shite! So, you're not going crazy... Sorry, when I deleted the old post, your comments were deleted as well...
Hope all is well!
Arctic Monkeys are the future!!!
Rock snob may be right...
